Meta Slideshow for iOS released

December 1st, 2011 We just have released Meta Slideshow 1.0 for iOS. Meta Slideshow is an easy photo slideshow viewer, which also shows the metadata of a photo!
It will show all images on your iOS device, in random order. You can easily slide back to a picture that was shown earlier in the slideshow.
It also offers a large range of times between the transitions up to 30 minutes, making it ideal as a photoframe app. Meta Slideshow is available on the App Store and runs on iPad, iPhone an iPod touch.

Troi Dialog Plug-in 5.5.5 for FileMaker Pro 11

November 16th, 2011: Today we released Troi Dialog Plug-in 5.5.5, our plug-in which can help you show sophisticated dialogs. This version is a minor maintenance release, which fixes a bug on Windows 64 bit.
Troi Dialog Plug-in 5.5.5 runs natively with FileMaker Pro 11, is compatible with Windows 7 and Mac OS X.

Troi Grabber Plug-in 2.2.1 for FileMaker 11 released

September 13th, 2011: We just released an updated version of Troi Grabber Plug-in, our plug-in for grabbing images and movies from video devices! This is a maintenance update, adding compatibility with OS X Lion and FileMaker Pro 11. It also has some bugfixes and other improvements.

Recursively Squared: Troi File Plug-in 5.5.1 for FileMaker 11 released

July 22nd 2011 Today we updated Troi File Plug-in, our file manipulation plug-in for FileMaker Pro 11. The new version 5.5.1 improves further on compatibility with Mac OS X Lion*. It also improves the speed of the powerful recursive listing of files and folders with just one call to the plug-in!

Version 5.5 introduced enhanced creation of thumbnails: Troi File lets you create square thumbnails, which is great for presenting multiple images to a user in a compact grid. On top of that we extended our support for more RAW file formats. Also new is the ability to read Exif information from RAW files (like shutter speed, aperture etc).
Troi File Plug-in 5.5 runs natively with FileMaker Pro 11 and is compatible with Windows 7 and Mac OS X.

Troi Plug-ins compatible with Lion

July 20th, 2011 Today Apple Inc. released OS X 10.7 Lion. We have finished testing our plug-ins with Lion and we have not found any compatibility issues!
We have created a Lion page with more details. We are continuing our tests and will report back when we have more information.
Also note that FileMaker Inc. created a web page about Mac OS X v10.7 and FileMaker products. They note that FileMaker Pro 11 is compatible with a few issues.

Recursively Square: Troi File Plug-in 5.5 for FileMaker 11 released

July 14th, 2011 Today we released Troi File Plug-in 5.5, our file manipulation plug-in for FileMaker Pro 11. This version adds preliminary compatibility with Mac OS X Lion*. It also adds powerful recursive listing of files and folders with just one call to the plug-in! On Mac OS X you can optionally even list the contents of a package folder (like an OS X app).

We also enhanced the creation of thumbnails: you can now create square thumbnails, which is great for presenting multiple images to a user in a compact grid. * Tested with Mac OS X Lion 10.7 (GM): in our preliminary testing we have found no major issues with Mac OS X Lion. We will continue our testing when the final release of OS X Lion comes out.

QuickTrans for iOS updated, reduced pricing!

May 10th, 2011 We have updated our iOS App QuickTrans to version 1.1. This version specifically enables taking images on the iPad 2, both with the back and front camera! And to celebrate, we also reduced the price to US$6.99!

QuickTrans is an iOS application designed to make sending images a snap: you can take one or more photos and upload them without any extra steps. It can also add (GPS) location data and your own text to the image.
This makes it ideal for people who repeatedly need to upload images to the company network, for example a real estate agent, who takes photos while inspecting a house.

Troi URL Plug-in 2.6 for FileMaker Pro 11

March 30th, 2011: Today we released a new version of Troi URL Plug-in, our plug-in that retrieves web pages, images and fills in web forms all from FileMaker. Troi URL Plug-in 2.6 adds three new authorization functions, which make it very easy to work with a Twitter account and post tweets! We have included an example to get you tweeting in no time!

This update also adds several other improvements, like a new function to URL encode text. Troi URL Plug-in 2.6 is available for Mac OS X and Windows, including Windows 7. It runs with FileMaker Pro 9 to 11. It can also run under FileMaker Server or as a plug-in used by the web publishing engine.

Updated Troi OSErrrs v2.3 error codes database

January 27th, 2011: This FileMaker database lists over 4700 Mac OS X ànd Windows error codes! We added a few new errors (including new ones that the Troi plug-ins can return). We also updated the layouts and changed to resizing layouts where appropriate. Still free for our plug-in users.

Troi URL Plug-in 2.5 for FileMaker Pro 11

January 20th, 2011: Today we released a new version of Troi URL Plug-in, our plug-in that retrieves web pages, images and fills in HTTP forms all from FileMaker. Troi URL Plug-in 2.5 adds compatibility with Windows 7 and with FileMaker Pro 11. It also adds new features like improved proxy support and image handling. Finally Troi URL Plug-in 2.5 is compatible to run under FileMaker Server or as a plug-in used by the web publishing engine.

Troi Activator Plug-in 3.0 for FileMaker Pro 11:

November 29th, 2010 Today we (officially) released a new version of Troi Activator Plug-in, our plug-in for triggering scripts remotely from an other computer. Troi Activator Plug-in can now serve as an Image Upload Server. It also works seamlessly in conjunction with QuickTrans our newly released app for iOS devices, making uploading images a snap!
Troi Activator Plug-in 3.0 runs with FileMaker Pro 9 through 11, is compatible with Windows 7 and is a Universal Mac OS X plug-in.

FileMaker Pro 11 released

March 9th, 2010: FileMaker Inc. released FileMaker Pro 11. This is a great release, with lots of new features.

In general all plug-ins that worked with FileMaker 10 still work with FileMaker 11.

Troi spoke at FMSummit 2010 in Utrecht, NL

May 28th, 2010: Peter Baanen, software developer of the Troi Plug-ins spoke about FileMaker plug-ins at FMSummit 2010, the developer conference for the Dutch speaking countries. It was held in Utrecht, Netherlands from 27-29 May 2010.

Troi Plug-ins compatible with Windows 7

January 11th, 2010: Recently Microsoft released Windows 7. We have finished testing our plug-ins with Windows 7 and we have not found any compatibility issues!
We have created a Windows 7 page with more details. We are continuing our tests and if we find any issues we will provide more detailed information.
Also note that FileMaker Inc. created a web page about Windows 7 and FileMaker products. They note that FileMaker Pro 10 has no issues.
